Use your real display name and a verified email. A real-name display policy is not identity verification. Participation is intended for adults 18 and older; launch terms and operational policies must be finalized before production release.
Help the conversation.
Ask practical questions, share recommendations based on your own experience and be specific about your town or service need. Business updates must clearly identify the business and stay useful rather than repetitive. No threats, harassment, impersonation, hateful attacks, doxxing, deceptive claims or spam.
Protect private information.
Do not post someone’s private street address, identity documents, contact details or confidential business-claim proof. Public posts and photos may be read without an account and may be discoverable after publication and indexing review.
Post directly. Keep it respectful.
Verified members who accept the guidelines can publish community posts, comments, replies and edits immediately, without prior admin approval. Report specific violations using the report control. Moderation decisions keep an audit reason; no paid plan is permission to break the rules or suppress legitimate criticism. A response-time or around-the-clock coverage guarantee is not made.
Blocking has limits.
Blocking prevents supported direct interactions and notifications and can filter your private view. It does not erase a public page or guarantee that someone cannot read it while logged out. Serious safety or privacy concerns need moderation review.
Reviews and events have their own checks.
Business reviews and calendar submissions can still require review. Read the review policy. Events must have a suitable local public location, coherent dates and accurate organizer information. Approved external video links are allowed; arbitrary embed code and hosted video uploads are not.
